it definitely took me awhile to get into black sun, but once i did, i overall enjoyed it! the multiple PoVs made it hard for me to feel connected to the characters, even i normally love multiple PoVs. i think i will continue the series once the next book comes out because that ending left so many questions and i think there are still so many interesting aspects of the world to be explored!
i REALLY enjoy the fact that orbit puts the series name and sometimes the book number on the spines!! i only have a few other series that do that but i love how it looks (plus its actually useful lmao)
i was really hoping to love a wizard of earthsea...unfortunately that wasn't the case 😬 it was just too meandering with no actual plot or focus on characters. that style of story just is not for me. though, i am going to try the second book because it seems very different from the first one! plus i want to see more dragons!
i think i want to try to reread the whole green rider series before the seventh book comes out in september! i'm hopefully going to read one book a month, starting next month (not including the novella). it feels so good to finally have a release date (as well as a title and cover!) after everything being so up in the air for so long!
some short books! as much as i love long fantasy series and books, i am not the type of person that can read ONLY that...definitely gotta break it up with some shorter books sometimes
i just finished black sun last night, so if i had your face is what i'm picking up next!! it's been months since i read a contemporary and even longer since i read a contemporary that isn't focused on romance, so i'm pretty excited! i feel like it might punch right in the emotions lol
