Happy International Women's Day! To celebrate, I wanted to chat about some of my favorite female authors! To be honest, most of the books I read are by women, so most of my favorite authors are women, but they still deserve a shoutout.
There are definitely more that I could have added to this list, but I wanted to include only authors that I've read multiple books/series from.
Synopsis: Elisabeth has grown up and lived her whole life in the Great Library of Summershall, one of six libraries that houses magical books, but when someone is out to sabotage each library, she must try to find the culprit in order to save the kingdom.
Synopsis: For years, Isobel has been painting the fair folk. She is well known for her paintings because the fair folk themselves cannot make anything or they will crumble to dust. After a summer of painting Rook, the autumn court prince, Isobel adds the one thing that will make the painting perfect - human sorrow in Rook's eyes. When this painting is unveiled in his court, it leads his people to question his power. Furious, he brings Isobel to the land of fairies to be tried, but many events put their journey off course.
