wrap up time! here's what i read this month:
haul time! mostly newish releases and books i've been meaning to get my hands on for some time!
okay, i was thinking about how books have gorgeous metallic details like this one, then i saw my sparkly nail polish in the sun and thought....why don't book covers have glitter on them?!?! like i can understand how it would be expensive and add extra work for just a regular edition, but for special edition? add some sparkle!!!
these are not the pictures i was planning on posting today, but when phoebe sat in the sun next to a pile of books, i couldn't resist 🥰🥰🥰
it definitely took me awhile to get into black sun, but once i did, i overall enjoyed it! the multiple PoVs made it hard for me to feel connected to the characters, even i normally love multiple PoVs. i think i will continue the series once the next book comes out because that ending left so many questions and i think there are still so many interesting aspects of the world to be explored!
i REALLY enjoy the fact that orbit puts the series name and sometimes the book number on the spines!! i only have a few other series that do that but i love how it looks (plus its actually useful lmao)
