One of my favorite things about yearly goals is being able to look back and see how I did! I think there is a fine line between taking goals to seriously and not seriously enough (and it's different for everyone), but I think I did a pretty good job with it this year. Without further ado, here are the 2020 reading goals I set back in January!
Everything I read and bought in December!
Everything I read and bought in November!
I actually did a post at the beginning of the year about series I want to read this year, and I am very happy to say that I did actually start two of them (and completed one)! I feel like my list of what I want to read has grown SO much lately, so I felt like I was due for another list. This list doesn't include series that are upcoming!
Everything I read and bought in October!
I was tagged by Rafaela from The Portuguese Bibliophile and the tag was originally created by Azia from The Uncharted World! I haven't done a tag in awhile, even though I don't drink pumpkin spice lattes (because I don't like lattes, not because I'm a snob about PSL), it fits the fall mood!
I noticed while writing about each of these settings that they all lend pretty well to mystery and not being able to tell what is around you. I'm not quite sure why that air of mystery works so well for creating an intriguing fantasy setting.
Everything I read and bought in September!
I've been wanting to make a post like this for a loooong time and I've definitely vented about it on Twitter before, but I finally did some research and got some very loose evidence to show what I'm talking about. The question I'm trying to answer today is: why do some adult fantasy books consistently get wrongly categorized as young adult?
