Haul

I started a new “program” this month: I have to go to the gym five times in order to earn the right to buy one book. This is going to help me with a number of things: going to the gym more and buying less books. Since starting this, I’ve realized it’s making me critically think about which books I want to buy, instead of just buying any book that catches my eye. I’ve also realized that it will help me reread more, because I’m buying way less books, so I’ll have a much smaller TBR.
Some of these, I bought last year and they didn’t arrive until January and the rest are book club books. I am excluding book club books from my program because I know I will read them and I don’t want to be stopped from buying them because I haven’t gone to the gym enough.
