I did also start two books, then put them on hold: The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See and Descendant of the Crane by Joan He. The first is just too dark for me at the moment, so I had to put it aside. I didn’t know there would be so much rape, torture, and general violence in it. As for the second, I just wasn’t in the mood for it, but I know once I am, I will enjoy it.

June Releases
The only book I even know of that is coming out in June is Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson, and I am so excited! I really enjoyed her debut book, An Enchantment of Ravens, and I have heard nothing but good things for this book! It comes out on June 4th!
Actually, there is another release I am looking forward to, but it is a bind-up, not a new release: Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black! I have been wanting to read this series for a while, but the covers really turned me off. The bind-up includes Tithe, Valiant, and Ironside, which have all been published individually, as well as a new short story. It is also being released on June 4th!
