Books I Finished
- Becoming by Michelle Obama
- This is the first non-fiction book I’ve read in a while, but I loved it! And it inspired me to read more non-fiction soon! Full review here 😊. (5⭐)
- A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
- I enjoyed this while reading it and I have a full review, but this book kind of has made me decide to step away from YA fantasy for a bit. (4⭐)
- The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel #5) by Michael Scott
- I started this series over a year ago and I finally got back to it 😬. (3⭐)
- The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
- So. Good. (5⭐)
- Renegades (Renegades #1) by Marissa Meyer
- I had started reading this back in December but I wasn’t feeling it, so I listened to the audiobook and it was okay. It has been less than two weeks since I finished it and it is already so forgettable, so I don’t know if I will continue the series. (3⭐)
- The Well of Ascension (Mistborn #2) by Brandon Sanderson
- I truly adore this series so far and it has made me so eager to read all of Brandon’s books! Here is a full review. (5⭐)
- The Enchantress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel #6) by Michael Scott
- I FINALLY finished this series and I have SO many thoughts, so I want to post a full series review! (3⭐)
- On The Come Up by Angie Thomas
- I LOVED this book!! I loved The Hate U Give, but I think I liked this one better. I am going to write a full review, but I liked that it was a little more interpersonal. (5⭐)
- An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes #1) by Sabaa Tahir
- I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I did think the beginning was slow, but the ending was really good and it leaves the way open for a really awesome series! (4⭐)
- Dating You / Hating You by Christina Lauren
- I definitely have some thoughts on this book, so I will be writing a full review, but overall I did like it! (4⭐)
Books I Bought
Okay…I said I wasn’t going to buy any books in March, but I cracked on Friday (the 29th!! I was so close!!) and picked up some at Goodwill:
- Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
- Vampire Academy books 3-6 by Richelle Mead
I have already read the Vampire Academy series and I love it. I owned the first two books already, and when I saw they had the rest of the series brand new for ultra cheap, I couldn’t resist!
Anticipated April Releases
- Descendant of the Crane by Joan He (April 9th)
- Like I said above, I want to step away from YA fantasy, but this book sounds really good!
